Welcome Freshers!

Hello Freshers! You have an exciting time ahead here at Liverpool Dental School and the LUDSS Committee want to make it both rewarding and fun!

The university experience is fantastic! Meeting new people from all over the country, in fact the world, who have all descended upon Liverpool to start their university life. This section of the website is here to provide a few tips on getting started! Enjoy.

We were all freshers at one point so are we are at an advantageous position to help first years through their time here. We have compiled our Freshers Top Ten Survival Tips to help you get along.

Being at dental school can be hard work at times, what with the longer terms and busy schedules. LUDSS aims to help counter this by organising new and exciting social events throughout the year to give you time to relax, have fun and get to know dental students from all the different years.

You will soon appreciate that older students have a wealth of knowledge, both about university life in general such as sorting out accommodation, eating out, shopping, money matters and academic subjects. One thing we really recommend is NOT BEING AFRAID TO ASK! All of the LUDSS Committee members and we are sure many of the other dental students here, will be happy to try and answer any queries you have.
